Goliath (Goliath)
This is the largest, and most powerful, battery-electric loco to have visited Bentley Miniature Railway. Despite living in Blackpool it's owner brought this loco down to Bentley several times between 2002-2004 and occasionally since. The design is based upon an American railroad F7 express diesel electric, and normally travels to Bentley complete with 3 or 4 passenger cars although could haul many more. Goliath has now taken up permanent residence at Ribble Steam Railway, Preston so it is not known when it will next venture South.
